PlatformIO has a built-in powerful Library Manager, that allows you to specify custom dependencies per project in the Project Configuration File platformio.ini using lib_deps. This will tell PlatformIO to automatically download the library and all its dependencies when you save the configuration file or when you compile your project.
Thank you for this informative tutorial!Another HUGE benefit from using PIO is the portability! When using Arduino IDE, copying a project to another computer involves adding new boards or libraries using the board and library manager (often quite a hassle to satisfy all dependencies).By using the lib_deps statement in the platformio.ini PIO just downloads missing libraries!
So curiously, I had already downloaded and installed the latest version of DHTLib (v0.1.21) versus the older version (v0.1.14) that is provided here. And I kept getting 0.00 values for the temp and humidity readings as Alex reported on April 20, 2016 in a posting above. I scratched my head for a while until I remembered I had the newer version of the library installed. So I removed that, installed the older v0.1.14 version, and bam, lo and behold, I started getting real values back. So this may be the same problem that Alex had, too.
Dear customer, we designed two versions of the motor drive shield for this robot kit, V1 version and V2 version, the shield will be shipped randomly with the robot. This wiki tutorial page is only for the robot with V1 motor drive shield. Please check the picture below, if you received the V2 version of the motor drive shield, please visit the link below to download the corresponding tutorial.
There are two versions for WINDOWS system, one is installed version, another one is download version, you just need to download file to computer directly and unzip it. These two versions can be used normally. Choose one and download on your computer.
(6)Download APPThe code is for reading the received signal, and we also need a stuff to send signal. In this project, we send signal to control robot car via cellphone. Then we need to download the APP.
The led panel in the Arcade1Up cabinet does not have built in audio. You can use the speakers, but will need a small amp. We have them in our store made perfect for arcades. You will simply run from the 3.5mm audio jack (like a headphone plug) from the raspberry pi into the amp. Then speaker wire from the amp to your speakers. This will give you sound for all of your games!
To install the ESP32 board definitions, you'll need download the contents of the esp32-arduino repository, and place them in a "hardware/espressif/esp32" directory in your Arduino sketchbook directory. You can either download those files using the git command line tool, or by downloading them from GitHub.
If you don't have git, click here to download the core (or click "Download" > "Download ZIP" on the GitHub page), and unzip it to an espressif/esp32 directory in your Arduino sketchbook.
The "get.py" python script will download the Xtensa GNU tools and the ESP32 software development kit (SDK), and unzip them to the proper location. You should see a few new folders in the "tools" directory, including "sdk" and "xtensa-esp32-elf" once it's done.
The ESP32 Thing's design is open-source! You can download, view, and modify the Eagle files (PCB design), checkout the schematic, or suggest revisions on the ESP32 Thing GitHub repository.
Buildroot is a set of Makefiles and script that automates the process of download the source code of the different software components, extract them, configure them, build them and install them. It ultimately generates a system image that is ready to be flashed, and which typically contains the bootloader, the Linux kernel image and the root filesystem. It is important to understand that Buildroot itself does not contain the source code for Linux, U-Boot or any other component: it is only a set of scripts/recipes that describes where to download the source code from, and how to build it.
Still the same issue. Could it because of some clock issue? Do I have to set the clock somewhere? Now I am using the project files from the library i downloaded from your repository. I have not changed any thing there. 2ff7e9595c
